**Overview of role**
You will be part of a growing team supporting apprenticeship training within employer organisations across Lincolnshire. You will need to have occupational competence in your required sector and recent experience in the delivery and end point assessment methodology of apprenticeship standards; including the teaching and embedding of functional skills, British Values, Safeguarding and prevent legislation.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- A focussed role to undertake the delivery & support of **Leadership and Management apprentices, including HR**
- Manage a caseload of learners ensuring timely progression of their chosen qualification.
- Monitor all learners to ensure they are visited and adhere to their agreed learning plan in line with their chosen apprenticeship standard guidelines and requirements.
- Monitor learner’s progress and ensure all forms of teaching, learning and assessment for each element of the apprenticeship is completed enabling learners to meet the criteria for entry to the gateway for their end point assessment.
- Maintain learner records accurately and ensure all evidence for all visits is readily available and accessible for audit and quality purposes.
- Undertake pre-placement and start up visits in-line with agreed procedures when required.
- Implement any improvements identified as a result of performance reviews and internal verification sampling.
- Undertake internal verifier and mock end assessment duties (where applicable).
- Engage employers in all learner reviews and promote a positive image of the company and assist in the completion of employer training needs analysis to ensure employers are provided with training solutions for all their needs / teams.
- Proactively work with the recruitment team in order to maintain targeted caseload numbers in line with the ESFA contract value and Employer Levy expectations, helping them to recruit direct starts.
- Promote and monitor the Prevent Duty, Safeguarding, equality of opportunity and safe working practices as defined by Lagat policies ensuring all mandatory training is completed
- Attendance at curriculum meetings and standardisation meetings
- To support new Training Officers/Tutors and act as a mentor and ‘work buddy’ when needed.
- Other duties that may be reasonably assigned by the line manager
**Health & Safety**
The post holder will take all reasonable care of themselves and of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
**Key Performance Indicators**
- Ensure timely entry to gateway of all your learners by ensuring they are ready at the end of their practical period. (5% tolerance).
- Ensure all new starts have initial contact and learning set within 48 hours of start date and a face-to-face visit within 4 weeks.
- EPA pass rate 95% overall.
- Ensure all records are updated within 48 hours of visits taking place
- Ensure learners receive a progressive visit either remotely or face to face every 4 weeks and that reviews take place a regular interval which include the line manager
- To complete regular CPD activity including 2 back to the floor sessions per year. Records to be submitted on request to line manager
- To support the maintenance of your caseload by actively promoting Lagat courses within settings, maximising progression routes and supporting the recruitment team with promotional activity and social media campaigns.
- The above KPIs will be monitored and discussed at 1-1 meetings with your Line Manager.
**Essential criteria -**
Leadership and management qualification at a minimum of level 3, level 4 ideally.
A Award and/or teaching qualification
Maths and English at Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
**Desirable criteria -**
IQA Award
