RG consultancy are working with a well established manufacturer based in Bolton, who are looking for a management accountant to join them, the role is permanent, full-time office based.
- Monday - Friday - 8.45am - 5pm (earlier finish Friday)
- Holidays 25 + bank holidays
- Access to Savings club, loan scheme, Employees Association / Social Club draws, etc
- Salary: negotiable depending on experience

**Duties**:

- Preparation of annual budgets with particular emphasis on sales and variable costs.
- Prepare the monthly Management Accounts pack ready for review, completing all the P&L and balance sheet journals, accruals, prepayments & reconciliations.
- Preparation & submission of VAT & Inland Revenue returns, Intrastat returns & National Statistics. Understand the effect of Brexit in these areas.
- Monthly responsibility for cash book posting
- Bank reconciliation.
- Authorisation of weekly payroll & fortnightly purchase ledger payments.
- Preparation of foreign, rental, management, pension, HMRC & ad-hoc payments.
- Profit & Loss analysis
- Project-manage the Purchase Order Processing project on Sage 1000.
- Introduction of an asset register for customer tooling & finishing equipment.
- Lead the annual audit cycle and provide internal support.
