Our client is a specialist provider of bespoke ductwork systems and air‑handling solutions, delivering high‑quality installations for construction projects across the UK.Account Manager / AccountantBalton, BL3Part time or full time (20 – 38 hours per week)Permanent position£18 – 22 per hourPlease note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK.The RoleOur client is seeking an experienced and motivated Company Accountant / Accounts Manager to take ownership of their financial operations and play a key role in supporting continued growth and success.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and oversee monthly, quarterly and yearly management reportsCreate and manage P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow budgetsManage CIS (Subcontractors)Process PAYE with RTI completion and submission (Sage Payroll)Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returnsPrepare year‑end accounts (TB, P&L, Balance Sheet)Produce final statutory accounts to Companies House requirementsHandle Purchase Ledger functions and supplier paymentsConduct Credit Control activities and chase overdue accountsProcess sales invoices and manage petty cash, credit card, and bank reconciliationsPerform data entry and filing dutiesReview statutory accounts and taxation (prepared externally)Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiencyEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsBenefitsCompany pensionFlexitimeOn‑site parkingThe Ideal CandidateComprehensive knowledge of Sage 50 CloudProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)Minimum 5 years’ Management Accounting experience (preferred)Minimum 5 years’ Bookkeeping experience (required)Excellent communication and relationship‑building skillsDetailed understanding of current accounting standardsExperience within the construction industryRecognised accounting qualificationsHow To Apply For The RoleIf you have the skills and experience required for this position, click “apply” today and check your inbox for an email providing more information on how to complete your application and provide any other supporting documents.You must be authorised to work in the UK.
