**Job Summary**
**Other Key Information**:Agile working, combining homeworking with office duties, will be possible after training period.
You will handle billing and collection of Council Tax and process changes of address / circumstances on accounts, working efficiently and accurately to ensure notifications are processed to a high level. You will need to be able to learn and stay up to date with relevant legislation to be able to correctly process changes. You will also need to be able to negotiate with residents who are behind with payments, helping them to understand their bills as well as explaining Council Tax rules and regulations.
**About You**
We are looking for individuals with demonstrable customer service skills, who ideally possess previous Council Tax, Business Rates or general administration and customer service experience to complement our high achieving team. Experience in dealing with busy phonelines is preferred, as your important role will ensure an understanding of the nature of contact and deal with the query at source or ascertain what action is required.
