**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are currently recruiting for motivated, reliable and customer focused Maintenance Supervisor to join our team based in College Lane, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 9AB.

**Job Type**: Permanent - Full Time.

**Pay Rate**: Up to £40,000 per annum dependent upon experience. Overtime available at 1.5-2x dependent on timings.

**Working Hours**: 40 Hrs per week, Monday to Friday 08.00 Hrs to 17.00 Hrs with a 30 minute unpaid break.

**Start Date**: Immediately.

**Role Summary**:
Reporting to the Hard Services Manager the Technical Services Engineer will oversee all activities undertaken by supply partners and sub-contractors.

They will be responsible for controlling sub-contractor works and the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities as directed by line management.

They will Liaise with the on-site team, to ensure that all safe systems of work are in place such as RAMS, competencies and permit to work and manage all aspect of these works ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures are followed as per Company H&S guidelines, thereby guaranteeing service excellence to our client

**Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include**:
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of contractor management, including H&S inductions submission of documentation, management of in progress works and monitoring of contractors, issue and completion of PTW, and final sign off of completed work ready for completion onto Concept CAFM system

Maintain accurate PPM works / service records, complete and update allocated tasks through the CAFM system and be part of the 24 call out service, as per the agreed rota

The post holder will be self-motivated and an effective time manager, can work to tight deadlines and under pressure with attention to detail and be an excellent communicator

Maintenance supervisor will need to ensure that any sub-contractors or other specialist service partners delivering services on behalf of the company comply with Tenon health, safety and environmental requirements, including, but not limited to, complying with Permit to Work and safe systems of works requirements, complete task specific risk assessments when required and carry out Point of Work risk assessments for all activities.

Maintenance supervisor should promote good safety habits and methods of work and be personally aware of and meet the legal and Company requirements for Health & Safety, reporting any H&S issues to line manager, including all accidents and near misses.

Ensure that statutory and mandatory planned preventative maintenance is completed in accordance with industry and contractual standards.
Ensure persons, including those employed by the contract supply chain, completing specialist planned maintenance are competent to do so.
Review and challenge established Authorised Engineering Team (AE)
Assist in establishing and appoint Responsible Persons (RP) Authorised Persons (RP) for statutory compliance maintenance and systems.
Provide management of the Technical Support Team for planned maintenance and asset replacement activities.
Issue technical change instructions to the operations, once agreed commercially.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Health & Safety qualified (minimum IOSH)
- Excellent working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work and PTW process.
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 Standard or equivalent relevant experience
- Relevant trade qualifications
- 18th Edition - Regulations
- Legionella awareness L8
- Asbestos awareness

**Desirable**:

- Good Level of understanding HSE, CIBSE, SFG 20, Legionella ACOP L8, Gas Safety Regulations 1998, IEE Wiring Regulations, Lift Regulations 1997, Lifting Operations & lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Lightning Protection
- Health & Safety qualified (NEBOSH)
