Artemis are proud to be partnering with this leading financial services business, to help them hire an experienced Accounts professional to take on the role of Accounts Reconciliation Manager.

**Purpose**:

- Oversee and manage a small reconciliation team in the Belfast office
- Role will be hands on leading by example
- Teams main purpose is the accurate timely and regular reconciliation of client accounts
- Liaise with clients with regards to successful resolution of queries
- Ensure payment made to within terms.

**Main Duties**:

- Perform reconciliations and update the system accordingly.
- Investigate discrepancies on statements and resolve with clients and staff.
- Raise payments to clients by due dates.
- Create and update computer records.
- Credit control following set debt procedures.
- Allocate funds to client records.
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Issue refunds to clients.
- Assist with internal and external audit queries.
- Maintain FCA compliance at all times with regards to client money.
- Ad hoc reporting as and when required.

**The Person**
- 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Accounting qualification (desirable)
- Extensive experience of reconciling supplier accounts and dealing with supplier queries
- Significant experience of preparing bank reconciliations
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations (desirable)
- Hands on credit control experience
- Possesses the energy, enthusiasm and ability to work within a demanding environment that requires a hands-on approach
- Keen eye for detail with the ability to analyse data quickly and accurately.
