**Job Summary**:
My client is a growing engineering consultancy with offices in the North East and Midlands. They are now looking for a **Graduate Geotechnical Engineer** to join the team, due to increased workload You will be joining a workplace that places an emphasis on training and developing your skillset in a broad spectrum of Geotechnical areas. You will have the chanceto work on **a range of small to large complex projects**with a diverse client base across a predominantly infrastructure client base.

**Requirements**:

- MSc Geotechnical Engineering / MSc Engineering Geology or similar
- BSc Geology or similar
- Graduate - 2 years experience

**What YOU need**:

- Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and independent thinker with an enthusiastic approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Supervision of ground investigations and logging soils to British standards
- Supervision, reporting and management of geotechnical assignments.
- Liaison with and directing of sub-contractors including drillers, excavator operators and surveyors.
- Writing factual and interpretive geotechnical reports
