The Public Health Department in Leicestershire County Council is enthusiastic and passionate about protecting and improving the health and wellbeing of the local population. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join the team.

Public Health is one of six departments within the County Council, exercising the full range of public health duties, including the delivery and commissioning of services. The Director of Public Health is a chief officer of the council, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. This new position reports to the Head of Service in Public Health.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience of organising and facilitating key meetings including Project Boards, Project Team meetings and workshops with a focus on decisions and actions
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to transfer relevant and proportionate information to members of the project team and to the Programme Manager/Programme PMO and engage effectively with key stakeholders.
- Collate, analyse and interpret information to support effective project delivery and identify recommendations and learning points for the project team, Programme PMO and wider PPM community.
- Ability to plan activities around the project deliverables within agreed timescales
