**Summary**:
**Job description**:

- You will need to be qualified to PhD level with postdoctoral experience, with specialist knowledge in biodiversity and/or ecosystem modelling and spatial analysis, aiming to plan and develop a research programme. This will include the ability to motivate, manage and mentor a small team of researchers, which might include Early Career Research Fellows, PhD and postgraduate students. You should have experience in research funding, and evidence of managing budgets. Your publication record should demonstrate a broad range of research skills to complement and extend the existing team (i.e. within informatics, spatial, ecological analysis or modelling, and/or remote sensing for plants).**Responsibilities**:

- You will contribute to the overall running of the team, projects, and feed into the science Directorate.**Benefits**:
The salary will be £38,200 - £41,802 per annum (pro rata), depending on skills and experience.
