Job Introduction
We are recruiting for a newly created role to join our Reward team as an Organisational Change Specialist

As part of the wider People team, you will report to the Senior Reward Manager. You will be responsible for organisational structure changes, supporting structure and job design - ensuring future proofed organisation structures, headcount cost impact assessment and budget monitoring. You will working closely with Senior Leaders in Head Office functions including Buying, Technology and Corporate to develop and land organisational change and restructure.

Working cross-functionally across the People team you will collaborate with colleagues in Reward, Resourcing, Employee Relations and L&D to project lead and ensure delivery on organisational change activity.

We are looking for someone with an HR background in change who is a confident communicator and can build effective relationships with Senior Leaders to influence and advise on recruitment and development to ensure the success of the agreed end point structure.

Job Overview
- Manage organisational structure changes from initiation to delivery, evaluating the success of end point structure in delivering to the original design objective
- Designing job roles - ensuring appropriate job levels within proposed structures and working closely with Reward to ensure appropriate benchmarking
- Oversight and and monitoring of headcount budgets - appropriately challenging Senior Leaders to ensure headcount costs are within budget
- Organisational structure and job profile governance and processes for all business areas - i.e. providing job profile standards and training; reviewing quality; maintaining a job profile library
- Partnering with our Buying, Technology and Corporate Functions on all activity relating to organisation structure and job design - ensure the business has future proofed structures and roles that demand the right experience, knowledge and capability to meet the needs of the business
- Provision of advice and guidance to Resourcing on effective selection into newly designed/revised job roles
- Collaboration with Employee Relations on changes impacting our people
- Collaboration with Learning and Development to ensure plans are in place to develop capability to meet the demands of the structure and roles within

Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Extensive experience supporting organisational structure change, designing job roles and landing organisational change involving a range of stakeholders
- Experience of effective partnering Senior Leaders
- Experience of leading projects - with a requirement to influence others to deliver required outputs
- Experience of job evaluating role (desirable - Mercer Job Evaluation training can be given)
- HR/Change experience gained within a retail organisation (desirable)
- Numerate and analytical, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to write policies and business comms

Package
- Up to £60,000 per annum - DOE
- 37.50 hours per week
- Based onsite in Liverpool Head Office
- 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service
