A vacancy has arisen for an Admin Assistant at our Mossend site. Based mainly in the Goods In office, you will report to the Admin Manager. The hours of work will be on an any 5 from 7 basis, flexibility will be required however predominantly the hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £19,900 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Check booking references on arrival and ensure drivers have adequate delivery / collection paperwork
- Communicate with the warehouse and allocate bays to drivers on arrival
- Manage the warehouse schedule
- Create orders and generate pick lists on the warehouse management system (WMS) and duty system
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- An ability to work on own initiative and act independently whilst also being able to work as part of a team
- Excellent literacy, numeric, and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
