Due to continued growth our client is now seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their busy team. **Role - Accounts Payable Administrator** **Salary - £25,000** **Hours - Monday to Friday** **Location - South Oxfordshire** **Benefits for a Accounts Payable Administrator**: - 23 days holiday plus bank holidays - On-site parking - Hybrid Working Available - Pension scheme - Life Insurance - Full company sick pay - Retail store discount **Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Administrator**: - Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. - Monitors & maintains the Accounts Payable mailbox - Allocation of expenses to various cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. - Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying purchase orders and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation. - Oversee the PO process and resolve queries thereby maintaining the Purchase Order report - Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos. - Issues stop-payments or purchase order amendments. - Processes & uploads payments for approval to head office - Returned payment reconciliation - Process various month end postings & journals relating to accounts payable - Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. - Maintains historical records by scanning, archiving and filing documents digitally - Perform any other ad-hoc duties as may be required by the business from time to time **Requirements of the Accounts Payable Administrator**: - Accounting and/or Bookkeeping diploma or equivalent required - Experience in accounting, finance, or related field a plus - Previous accounts payable experience preferred although training will be provided in the use of Oracle & Hyperion - Attention to detail - Thoroughness - Organization - Analyzing information - Vendor relationships - Data entry skills - Ability to work under pressure - Self-starter - Advanced excel skills - Strong team player with a "can do" attitude - Must be car driver due to site location
