This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a friendly and proficient administration team supporting therapists and management who deliver Children & Young People's Speech & Language Therapy across the whole of Dorset.
We are looking for someone with excellent IT skills, strong organisational capabilities, proven time management & great interpersonal & communication skills.
Having the ability to effectively prioritise your workload and manage conflicting demands is essential.
You will be a pivotal point of contact for health and education professionals and parents/carers of patients accessing the service and as such you will need to have a friendly approach & be able to build effective working relationships between yourself, colleagues & the wider service users
It is an interesting and varied role and we’d like to find someone with good humour who enjoys the challenge of a busy working environment
Provide full administrative duties for the Children & Young Person's Speech & Language Therapy Service supporting both clinicians and management which include, but not limited to:
- Action all incoming correspondence, both electronic and paper
- Distribute correspondence to service users as requested by clinicians
- Create and update electronic records using the SystmOne record sharing database ensuring all records are kept accurate & concise
- Booking & cancelling appointments which will include the creating and formatting of letters
- Monitoring & maintaining resource stock levels & distributing resources as required to clinicians
