About the HR Assistant role*
Activate Learning have an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant to join our dynamic team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.
Working within a busy front-line HR Services team, the purpose of the role is to provide a professional, high quality, timely and customer focused transactional service for all HR processes in line with our staff journey, including the onboarding of all new staff in line with safer recruitment practices. This is a busy team working to tight deadlines.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, offering a hybrid working model and flexibility in location, although there will be some requirement to work at City of Oxford College.
**About you**
You will have some experience in an HR role, either as an HR Administrator or HR Assistant. An understanding of processes including onboarding, Right to Work, references etc. is required for this role. You’ll also have experience using an ATS and HRIS.
- Can confidently use Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and able to process large volumes of work quickly and accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A ‘can do’ attitude.
