**About us**

We are a small local charity

**Fundraiser**

Animal Hostel Trust operates All For Horses, and is a registered charity which takes in and rehomes unwanted horses, as well as promoting suitable care and training methods to improve the welfare of the wider horse population.

We are seeking a Fundraiser to join our team.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work occasional weekends and bank holidays.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- You must be passionate about maximising returns from donations received.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the charity sector is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Raise funds and awareness of our charity by organising and managing various events, including but not limited to: on line sales, sponsorship, auctions, live events, raffles, prizes, etc.
- Liase with staff and volunteers at our charity shop to ensure we maximise returns from donated items.
- Serve as a liaison between donors and the organisation by answering donors’ questions and providing information on how they can help and get involved.
- Communicate with existing and potential sponsors and supporters.

Create literature, and publicity campaigns including via social media to increase awareness of our work.

- This role can be worked partly from home if required, however attendance for some of the time will be required at our shop in Scarborough.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Freelance

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
