This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our expanding Health Safety & Compliance team within Greatwell Homes.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Advise senior managers, managers and employees on health and safety legislative requirements, changes in legislation, safe working practices and proper maintenance of equipment.
- Provide support to deliver and maintain H&S compliance whilst engaging, motivating staff to develop a positive, well-informed health and safety culture.
- To support the Asset Management Team in the central delivery of Health and Safety, performance monitoring and compliance, including collation of timely and accurate statistical information for Health & Safety management and to evidence compliance within auditing.
- Provide support to the Health and Safety & Compliance Manager to ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.

**About you**:

- NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent such NVQ L3 in Occupational Health and Safety or demonstrate a commitment to completing either within 6 months of appointment.
- Experience of working in property services and compliance.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft and Excel skills with the ability to present information in forms, tables & spreadsheets.
- Understanding and commitment to equality and diversity. Health and safety and data protection polices and legislation applicable to the role.
