The **payroll associate** is to complete the assigned payroll tasks and duties to deliver our payroll service in line with the policy, procedures, and contractual requirements for Giant Group Plc.

**Your ultimate objective** is to ensure a Customer 1st service is delivered to our clients and that the production of payroll are compliant with any relevant stakeholder requirements in accordance with the agreed processes & SLAs.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
1. Processing daily and weekly payrolls, including calculating pay slips, checking error reports & pay slips, liaising with other departments and Clients where needed, reconciling and creating BACs/Swift files

2. Good communication around progress of Live Payrolls, ensuring all key management reports are always up to date in real time.

3. You will need to engage with our clients and internal stake holders to offer a level of customer service with a high level of satisfaction, processing daily advances for all clients

4. Processing starters, re-starters, and leavers

5. Processing RTI submissions to HMRC.

6. Administration of statutory payments

8. Assisting the administrators with ad hoc tasks as and when requested

9. Ensuring compliance with Giant’s Quality and Information Security policies

experience/competencies

Ideally you would have a minimum of 1 year’s payroll related knowledge or experience.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have great enthusiasm and attitude for the role, a high level of resilience and strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence.
- Proficient in Microsoft office is required.
- Understanding and striving to achieve the **giant** people values is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £18,500.00-£20,600.00 per year
