Job Purpose:
- To drive the productivity pipeline for the site also working with the CI manager to determine the vision for productivity
- Support front line teams with problem solving capability
- Project work for Productivity and support of strategic site A3s for our Must Win Battles
- Support CI manager with Lean deployment and matrix maturity
**Responsibilities**:
- Deploy performance excellence tools across the site following lean/Tracc framework
- Focusing on improving standards (target 80% of time) through QCDM framework - Identify opportunities for improvements and drive actions to correct.
- Owning the QCDM methodology through coaching to all levels across the site
- Work closely with the site teams to train and coach appropriate problem solving tools
- Facilitate structured problem solving sessions to ensure root causes are captured
- LSS Kaizen leader/Green belt - responsible for delivering improvement projects including productivity
- Ensuring lean training material is optimised and fit for purpose through collaboration with Trainers & MOS team
- Leading and supporting improvement projects, through the change management process, from minor changes through to Capex justification and commissioning
- Deliver lean by design for new equipment as part of capital project team
- Developing Continuous Improvement culture through the QCDM framework and methodology
- Ownership of standard work for FLEs within their area of responsibility
- Work closely with the Shift leadership team to coach appropriate problem solving tools to preventative actions.
- Collaborative approach with the central teams to bring to site key lean initiatives and productivity plans for roll out
Qualifications:
- Experience in Continuous improvement and lean tools and program development (e.g. Six Sigma, Total Performance Management and TRACC Methodologies)
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Coach and facilitator with a passion for developing & training others
- Advanced Facilitator (Desirable)
- Ability to manage projects management
- A great communicator that can influence at all levels and keep stakeholders fully informed, engaged and motived with agendas
- Assertive, independent and self-sufficient, with the ability to cope effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Able to develop a culture of problem solving within the operational frontline team
- Ability to think strategically and develop action plans through the prioritisation of work streams.
