Product Marketing Executive

A graduate with minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing or product role, ideally in the IT or communications industry, with the desire to build a career in an innovative and high performing business overseeing a market-leading product offering.
**Purpose of the job**
The Product Marketing Executive's main responsibilities is identifying and achieving profitable growth of the products they support, aligned with Gamma Group objectives.
The Product Marketing Executive will do this through a deep understanding of our target markets and will develop product messaging and value propositions that profoundly resonate with our customers. They will communicate the value of our products and services to our sales teams, sales channels and customers in a way that differentiates them from the rest of the market.
Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, the Product Marketing Executive will work closely with the Group Marketing teams, Product Managers and Sales Specialists to create campaigns and materials that launch, support in-life, migrate and retire their allocated products.
**Specific responsibilities**
- Create and share the agreed product messaging and value propositions that resonate with target customers and that differentiate our product and propositions from the competition.
- Develop, communicate and implement Product Marketing Plans for the products you are allocated, with support from the Senior Product Marketing Manager and working closely with the appropriate Product Managers and the Group Marketing team, ensuring close alignment with the group-wide sales plans for those products.
- Build and manage content for customer communication and engagement for products along the buyer journey.
- Produce standardised and utilised sales and partner enablement collateral.
- Measure and assess the effectiveness of product marketing programs on an ongoing basis and report back to the business on required changes.
- Keep on top of market research, industry insight and competitive intelligence developing a deep and thorough understanding of our target audiences across all Gamma Group geographies, using this knowledge to steer the Product Marketing plans, influence Thought Leadership activity and respond to competitor activity and market trends.
- Research and identify key verticals we should be competing in and develop specific messaging and value propositions for each.
- Gather industry, customer and partner requirements and feed them into Product to facilitate delivery of innovative, competitive product roadmaps
**Education and experience**
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in marketing within a fast-moving, B2B business/industry.
- Strong presentation skills to share ideas and influence key stakeholders within the sales and customer communities.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Comfortable working remotely and delivering against agreed objectives and deadlines.
Preferred:
- At least 2 or more years' experience in industry/commerce.
- Marketing qualification such as CIM or equivalent.
- Experience relating to the IT or telecommunications industry.
**Competencies**:
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work within multi-disciplinary teams of people on launch plans, in-life campaigns, thought-leadership and product development projects.
- Able to manage multiple projects and prioritise.
- Able to write English clearly and concisely.
- Able to lead decision making meetings without the formal structural authority.
- Be flexible over working hours and be prepared to travel occasionally.
