Community Engagement Officer
Working as part of a team to actively support the day-to-day running of our existing and new Outreach Hubs. These Hubs will be based in Hertsmere, St Albans, Welwyn and Hatfield and Broxbourne and East Herts districts.
The Hubs enable us to take information about all our services and signposting, usually available from our permanent Community Hubs, to residents around the areas we serve. In particular the Community Engagement officer will engage Hub visitors in motivational conversations around numeracy and make them aware of free training programmes delivered in local community venues to help them become confident with numeracy in day to day life.
You will have experience and a genuine interest in partnership working to develop service offers that meet resident needs in improving their health and wellbeing. You will be comfortable and thrive working in an ever changing environment, understanding the need to meet the expectations, key deliverables and performance indicators of more than one key stakeholder.
No two days will be the same, working in different Outreach Hubs and sometimes at our main office in Ver House, St Albans.
