**An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Carer in the Chippenham area**.

The main objective of this role is to support workers, helping improve their ability to deliver consistently exceptional care to vulnerable children and adults in the community.

We are recruiting a senior carer and we are looking for a full time applicant and will require some flexibility as to support the needs of the service.

**Key responsibilities**
- Help develop and support other carers in their day-to-day roles
- Welcome new clients to the business, and manage initial care introductions
- Provide care in the community as and when required
- Support in continual training and development of care team
- Maintain positive relationships with clients
- Lead regular care reviews with clients
- Report any concerns to the Registered Manager
- Participate in on-call services as required.

Our senior care team perform an important role in our organisation, ensuring the ongoing delivery of exceptional care.

You will be equally comfortable in an office environment as much as you are in a field-based role. You will be passionate about delivering first class care and in helping to develop your colleagues in doing the same.

As a Senior Carer you will work from our offices in Chippenham, but this is also a field-based role travelling to client's homes.

**Qualifications**:
You need:

- Level 3 NVQ health and social care (or working towards it)
- Minimum 2 years care experience and 1 year in a supervisory role
- Evidence of good teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Confident leadership abilities
- Licensed driver and access to a reliable vehicle

Availability:

- Must be available for some early shifts and some late shifts
- Must have flexible availability for every alternate weekend.
