**Logistics Apprentice**

**Based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire - On site**

**Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm (45-minute lunch break)**

**£14,000.00 per annum**

**The Benx Group of Companies** is a leading provider of façade products and solutions that enhance, protect and add value to buildings through innovation, technology and know-how.

This apprentice role lasts up to 12 months and gives you the chance to earn while you learn. You will complete a business administration level 3 as part of the apprenticeship. We are looking for a motivated individual with a willingness and enthusiasm to get involved and support our logistics team, who is also excited to develop practical and problems solving skills along the way. **No prior experience is required as you will be given full training.**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- General transport planning administration
- Supporting the logistics team with operational queries and helping to provide solutions
- Taking telephone calls from both customers and suppliers
- Organising transport with couriers, hauliers and third party providers
- Supporting with logistic non conformances
- Calling construction sites to check requirements and book in deliveries
- Ad hoc transport planning tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent administration skills
- Enthusiastic, committed and reliable
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent customer focus, both internal and external
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with experience in Stock Control systems desirable
