**Company Description**

FROME PRINTWORKS is an independent digital printing business located in Frome, Commerce Park, Somerset. We print using some of the latest digital print machinery including SRA3 small format and and large format flatbed printing. We pride ourselves on providing the best printing materials and processes available - for us it’s all about quality and speed, with a personal touch. As well as printing all the usual printed items like flyers, booklets, posters, we also print signage, packaging and retail point of sale.

Our range of in-house print equipment is extensive and includes Konica Minolta Production Press, SwissQprint Impala flatbed printer and Veloblade flatbed cutter. Also various other small format finishing equipment such as Duplo Booklet maker, Matrix laminator and paper guillotine.

This job role is looking for a driven individual who is good working within a small team with good practical skills, willing to do a multitude of job roles within the company operating digital printers and print finishing processes; guillotine cutting, laminating, saddle stitch booklet making and generally hand finishing. The role also allows for responsibility for boxing and quality checking jobs before they are dispatched.

**Your day-to-day tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Operating UV flatbed printer
- Operating flatbed cutter.
- Basic machine maintenance
- Operating print finishing machines.
- Packing and booking jobs for courier.
- Work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Some hand fishing including making roller banners
- Good eye for detail.

**Schedule**
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- 1 year minimum (preferred)

This job provides an exciting chance to gain both practical skills that are practiced worldwide in the print industry. This is a manufacturing role - printing and print finishing can be physical, so the right person would need to be physically fit.
