**SCOPE**:
Consortio Security are looking to recruit 1 new Security Officers for a Logistical project at Grove Farm Business Park, close to Fosse Park, Leicester - LE19 1SU

The shift patterns are as follows - 05:30 to 14:00 Tuesday to Friday (32 hours per week) with Saturday and Mondays off and potential work available on the Sundays between 07:30-14:00 which would increase weekly hours to 39.5.

To be considered for this role you must hold an active SIA License be it a Close Protection, Door Supervisor or Security Guard. You also need to have a current First Aid qualification and have excellent customer service skills as the role involves working with employees and visitors to the site.

This role would suit someone who is flexible, able to think on their feet, who is able to constantly prioritise tasks ensuring that the most important issues are dealt with first and foremost.

Previous Logistical experience in a fast paced environment would be beneficial but not essential as long as you have a ‘’can do attitude’’ and a ‘’will to succeed’’ you will be successful in the recruitment process and the subsequent role.

All site training will take place prior to the mobilisation date.

**MAIN DUTIES**:
Main Duties include: Controlling access and egress to site, booking staff and visitors onto the site, patrolling the site internally and externally, person searches involving hand and wand searches, vehicle and cab searches, Seal checks, monitoring of CCTV across the site, immediate first aid management prior to the emergency servicesattending the site, fire evacuation and testing procedures, coordinating safe movement of staff and visitors whilst they are on site, Health and Safety checks as well as proactive and reactive incident management.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Purpose of the role: To provide an efficient and professional security service to Consortio Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism, customer service and integrity.

**DUTIES**:
Control access and egress, utilising the equipment and systems provided

Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are secure

Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally

Accurately operate and test designated alarm systems

Monitor CCTV systems for protection of people, property and assets

Conduct person searches inclusive of wands as well as hand searches

Vehicle and cab searches

Seal checks on inbound and outbound trailers

Complete the daily log, noting all appropriate activity

Produce accurate reports as and when needed

Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of all zones utilizing technical capabilities

Ensure all procedures, site / assignment instructions and protocols are followed at all times; being particularly diligent when in an emergency situation

Maintain tidy and clean work areas

Dealing with post as and when it is delivered and handing it to the necessary responsible person

Ensuring personal boundaries are adhered to at all times making sure that the line is never crossed

Be an effective ambassador for Consortio, always smart and diligent with high levels of integrity

Previous Logistical experienced in a fast paced environment would be beneficial

**SHIFT PATTERNS AVAILABLE**:
Role 1 - £10.95 Per Hour - 05:30 to 14:00 Tuesday to Friday with Optional Sunday 07:30-14:00 available, there is also overtime available within the area on days and nights.
