Our events are high profile conferences and training events delivered via face to face, on-demand recording or virtual via Zoomand you will be responsible for all elements required to ensure they run efficiently.

**Main Purpose of Role**
You will be part of a team that focuses on the organisation and planning of our events. You will work alongside others to deal with any issues that arise and ensure that all events are a success. You will also be integral in ensuring all communications aresent as required to our external support network.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for administration and running of accountancy and tax course programmes, for a portfolio of both individual firms and national events
- Assisting with the planning and organising of various courses, conferences, events and online training. This involves coordinating venues, speakers, dates and communications to clients
- Reviewing processes and procedures to continually improve
- Delivering a key contribution to the development of the business and ensuring that Mercia’s training is always of the highest quality.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- You must be able to work on your initiative
- A strong team member who can support others with tasks
- You must demonstrate that you can work in a face-paced environment
- Be able to communicate efficiently with clients and external suppliers, including dealing withdifficult conversations
An exceptionally strong planner who can prove they can multi-task
