Restaurant Manager at Oita is a role that rewards calm confidence and the ability to go the extra mile. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the front of house team.

**Duties**:

- Oversee the restaurant team and ensuring the running of a smooth service.
- Welcome and attend to guests with an exceptional level of care and service, ensuring that they leave with a positive and memorable experience;
- Maintain patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.
- Accomplish restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewingjob contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.

The successful General Manager will have:

- Previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager ready to take on more responsibility
- Warm and welcoming personality, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team
- Passion for hospitality and a good knowledge of food and beverage
- Effectively manage all aspects of the restaurant to achieve agreed performance targets
- Proactively work with the Director's to grow the business and develop the restaurant to keep our guests returning
- Knowledge of Japanese food, culture, language or experience in working in Japanese restaurant is highly beneficial
