My Client a Business to Business research company are looking to support their finance function with a Management accountant on a 9 month FTC.
As a Management Accountant you will join finance team on a fixed-term contract to support the finance managers in ensuring that the financial reporting of the group is accurate and timely. You will support the group P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow processesand transformational projects in the finance team
- Management accounts for inclusion in monthly management packs
- P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis
- Management accounts adjustments, accruals, prepayments
- Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting and intercompany activity
- Capitalisation of development assets and ownership of the asset registers
- Support the billing processes and provide assistance on sales commissions
- Calling out system improvements and supporting with ad hoc duties
- Responsible for data validation across the transformation projects, to ensure we have revenue assurance through our sales to cash processes and to complete a successful cutover into new systems
- Analyse and resolve issues related to revenue assurance analysis
- Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant
- Strong commercial acumen
- Likes to get hands dirty
- Excellent excel skills - must be able to manipulate large data sources efficiently and accurately
- Able to present financial information to non-financial audience
