Production Operative

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Production Operative in our filling and packing departments at our Grimsby site. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.

The role of the filling operative is to assist shift manager, team leader in all aspects of food production within an efficient, continuously improving, production line / area optimises product quality, GMP, customer service, cost and health & safety. Specific responsibilities include blending, packing, assembling of a number of product lines within a well trained team where there is open communications at all levels.

The shift pattern for this role is a 3 week rotational pattern of 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all products is made to company specification including, temperature, weight, photo standards, CCP, reporting all failures to Team leader
- Report all downtime to ensure they are acted upon immediately and incidents of more than 10mins are reported
- Help maintain GMP by keeping work area/line clean and tidy
- Promote and help build pride within the work place and team

**What you will need for the role / what it will take**
- Relevant level of education(GCSE/O levels)
- 1 years experience within the FMCG industry or manufacturing site
