Sales Administrator

**Job description**
We are looking for an individual with a passion for administration and technology to actively support the sales team, manage customer portals and create vital sales reports.
You will be a pivotal member of the team, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solution quotations to our customers, and placing orders on our personalised system with a focus for our customers to receive the best possible support and service in the industry.
You will be self-motivated to achieve objectives, learn pricing structures and benefits of the technology we provide and manage in whole: sales reports, customer portals, and the effective organisation of your workload.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Manage & maintain an effective and efficient organisational system for customer purchase orders, quotations, correspondence and communications.
- Understand all functions involved in operational and sales processes & procedures.
- Produce and communicate accurate Customer and Vendor stock, sales & backorder reports.
- Ensure orders are despatched and booked into the correct customer warehouses. Provide updates to the customer throughout
- Ensure accurate and timely management of all quotations and requests.
- Maintain high levels of customer service ensuring that CMS remains a valued and key supplier.
- Providing quotations and managing these in the CMS CRM system
- Sales administration, including order processing, stock enquiries, due dates and PODs (proof of delivery)
- Liaising with the CMS customer services, stock management and warehouse teams
- Follow up all quotations, enquiries and orders with the customers
**Required skills and attributes**:
- Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent administration skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Impeccable customer service skills.
- Proven ability to take initiative and go the “extra mile” to exceed expectations.
- An interest and passion for technology.
- Outstanding organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively.
- Ability to multi-task, whilst having high attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team.
**Job Type**: Permanent
