If so we have a fantastic opportunity to join the Yorkshire Agricultural Society Marketing team.

**About the role:**

To raise the profile of the Society and the events held at the Showground which includes the biggest agricultural Show in the UK, attracting over 140,000 visitors over four days, The Great Yorkshire Show and to maintain and develop sponsorship partnerships with a variety of organisations developing income streams ensuring the objectives for all parties are met and exceeded.
**Key Areas:**
- To create and deliver innovative sales and marketing plans that drive customer acquisition, loyalty and conversion across digital and traditional channels.
- To be responsible for delivering projects from conception to delivery, to promote and develop the work of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, the Great Yorkshire Show and Springtime Live.
- To be part of the Marketing department in achieving sales and marketing objectives for the Society.
- To ensure the Society and GYS continue to grow and thrive; through exceptional marketing, data analysis, audience segmentation, planning and project management.
- Help plan and deliver all offline and online marketing and advertising campaigns for GYS and Society.
- Working closely with the Charitable Activities team to support and promote agriculture, rural and allied industries throughout the North of England including championing the role of farmers.
- To inspire, influence and work closely with all kinds of people, internally and externally.
- Manage signage for the GYS - working closely with the Marketing Manager.
- Helping to generate sponsorship for the Great Yorkshire Show, which includes existing sponsors and looking for potential new sponsors to generate income and meet sales targets.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to create and deliver marketing plans for the Society and Great Yorkshire Show to meet the objectives of increased growth, across the full marketing mix and encompassing online and offline marketing initiatives.
- To develop income identifying target audiences and devising and implementing creative targeted marketing campaigns. To have the creativity and tenacity and commercial drive to see and develop new income streams.
- To help increase GYS ticket revenue, sponsorship income and YAS membership income.
- To identify target audiences and devise advertising campaigns which engage, inform and motivate.
- To work closely with the PR department to achieve a totally integrated marcomms team and create unified marketing campaigns ensuring cross department cohesion and shared objectives and measurement.
- To ensure that all data related to marketing activity is fully analysed and actioned appropriately
- Build relationships and partner with key industry contacts and affiliated organisations.

**About you:**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Experience in a similar sales and marketing position
- Integrated marketing campaign experience
- A passion for farming to preserve the tradition of the Great Yorkshire Show with an eye on how to take this forward in the future
- Strong creative skills
- Up to date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Intelligent reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions and effectively present information and reports
- Understanding of digital marketing including wordpress
