**Job summary**:
RAF Menwith Hill is an integral part of the worldwide defence communications network and provides intelligence support for United Kingdom, United States and allied interests. The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department assist this operation with almost 100 employees providing a range of maintenance support.

The position is located within the O&M working under the Contract Surveillance Team Chief. The incumbent will act as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for designated O&M Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contracts and be a key inputter and overseer of M&E works carried out through the Base Maintenance Contract.

This post is advertised for 37 hours per week.

**Person specification**:
You must hold an Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

You must be a UK citizen and have lived in the UK for at least 8 of the last 10 years. You will be required to obtain a DV enhanced security clearance in order to fully carry out your duties.
