**Position: Full Time Care Support Worker**

Responsible to: Manager

**Full training will be given, leading to a Health and social care qualification In house and a job.**

**Working hours**

Our shifts are 6 or 7 hours morning, evening and weekends.

**Job Summary**

Working for Rockny House you will have the opportunity to progress and gain qualifications within a Health and Social Care Environment. We are a Residential Care Home which provide person centred care within a homely environment.

**The role**:

- To ensure that the rights of the service user are upheld
- To ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults are reported according to policies
- To bring to the attention of the Team Leader, Service Co-coordinator or Supported Living Manager any concerns or deficits in the provision of care
- To support service users to maintain their health and wellbeing
- To support each individual to maintain a safe and secure environment in accordance with operational policies.
- Provide practical and emotional support to contribute to development
- Assist residents with the preparation of meals ensuring good health and hygiene standards are met
- Assist with activities within the home and outside of the home
- Will have good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ideally have some experience in working in a similar sector
- Well organised and able to prioritise own workload
- Be able to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full Time

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday

- Day shift
- Night shift
