**Part time social media assistant at Double-Barrelled**

Are you creative and driven, with a flair for creating scroll-stopping content?

Double-Barrelled Brewery are recruiting a **Part Time Social Media Assistant** to support us in levelling up our social media and digital marketing activity in 2025 and beyond.

Since we launched our Reading-based brewery in 2018, we’ve been continually growing and last year launched in to some incredible new accounts including John Lewis, Waitrose and Tesco with more growth planned in 2025.

We are a small and dynamic team in an exciting fast-paced industry, so the right person for this role will be highly motivated & enthusiastic about joining us.

If you’re creative, work with pace and have your eye on viral social trends, you could be the next key ingredient to our team. And of course, we work in a great industry with a great product - beer, so understanding the importance of taste and great hospitality will be important in this role.

**About the role**
- Your assets will support new product launches, promotions, events and increase brand awareness.
- You’ll get involved in promotion our industry leading brewery taproom and their evolving events calendar
- You’ll become a whizz on the latest e-commerce tools and learn how to use industry leading digital marketing and e-commerce software packages such as Klaviyo, Shopify and more
- You will have the opportunity to attend buzzing festivals and events, pouring beers to thousands of DB hungry consumers across the UK

**About you**

You’ll be a digital focused marketeer with an eye on social media trends and have a natural creative streak.
- Passion for digital communications for brands
- Content creation experience (either personal or for another business)
- Witty & personality driven copywriting skills
- Great attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn
- Outgoing, organised, keen to get stuck into things
- Ideally some knowledge and experience of basic design packages like Canva, as well video editing skills for social content
- Interested in Craft Beer

**Key requirements for role;**
- Interest in social media and digital design and desire to follow career path down this channel
- Strong understanding of social media fundamentals and e-commerce trends
- Proficiency with graphic design and video editing tools
- Ambitious, confident, self starter and driven
- Role will be based a mix of on-site for content capture and home based. Weekend and evening work will be required on occasion.

**Anticipated start date**: ASAP

**Salary expectations**: between 10-15 hours per week minimum hours contract

**Benefits**: 33 days holiday per year (accrued pro-rata), 30% staff discount and staff socials

**Location**: Must be able to be onsite at least 1 day per week at our brewery in Reading - Unit 20 Stadium Way, Tilehurst, Reading, RG30 6BX

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
