**What you'll get up to as a Senior People Business Partner
We are on the hunt for a genuine Senior Business Partner, who enjoys collaborating and supporting key stakeholders in allocated business areas. This role will be pivotal in supporting us to achieve our operational and strategic goals through our people overthe coming years. You will build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with the business, providing a professional ‘People’ consultancy service to teams, managers, and key stakeholders to help build organisation and people capability, and shape andimplement effective strategies and activities. You will add value to AFI’s people processes and change portfolio with your deep knowledge of the business and employment law

**What we look for in you
- Extensive experience of operating in a business partner model in a medium to large organisation with multiple stakeholders, working with line managers to create positive business outcomes.
- Knowledge of current thinking in Human Resource issues and trends and evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Commercially aware. Ability to understand business needs, diagnose underlying issues and anticipate the need for change and support stakeholders build the case for change
- Communicates, challenges, and influences a variety of stakeholders effectively.Ability to present sound and well-reasoned arguments to convince others.
- Able to simplify complex problems, processes, and projects into component parts, explore and evaluate them systematically.Able to transform proposals/ideas into practical reality.
- Adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, or groups. Is able to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives on an issue, to adapt the approach as the requirements of a situation change
- Is ready and able to take the initiative, originate action and be responsible for the consequences of the decisions made
