CNC Machinist

**Job Title**: CNC Machinist (24-month FTC)

**Location**: Washington, Tyne & Wear

**Salary**: £39,301 + shift premium (23%-40%) depending on shift pattern

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Overseeing production lines producing munitions
- Programming, setting and running a range of CNC machines
- Working largely unsupervised in a busy machining shop
- Passing on your knowledge and experience to other team members

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Time served CNC Turning/Machining/Milling apprenticeship
- Set and run a range of CNC machines
- Understanding and experience working with engineering drawings
- Proactive approach towards daily activities

Desirable:

- Familiar with Fanuc automated robot load/unload systems
- Ability to program a range of CNC machines
