Hgv Hiab Driver

**Overview**
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HGV Driver with HIAB remote license to join our team at James Wilby and help us provide an exceptional level of service to our customers and other RHA members and FORS operators who we work closely with across the UK.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and drive lorries, vans, or flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and manage inventory effectively.

**Experience**
- Proven experience using a HIAB in a similar role within commercial driving.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on-site.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and customers effectively.
- A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is essential.

Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 60 per week

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
