**What you’ll be doing**:

- Owning and managing hardware systems, tooling, and infrastructure.
- Developing strategic approaches for hardware (Mechanical, Electronic and Firmware) projects.
- Working closely with R&D Leader and managing 7 to 10 multi-functional internal hardware teams.
- Implementing new hardware strategies and addressing all future business requirements.
- Supporting method development automation across all Hardware platforms.
- Driving new product lead.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

**What experience you will need to apply**:

- Experience in working across global regions within a global organisation.
- Expertise within product / instrument development environment.
- Previous leadership role across hardware disciplines (Mechanical, Electronic, Firmware).
- Proven track-record of leading big strategic projects.
- Ability to develop hardware strategies and manage the requirements for tools, processes, and underlying infrastructure.
- Knowledge of hardware platform design & management.
- Having an analytical mind and ability to look at the bigger picture.
