LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit experienced **Support Workers** to join our team in the **Westerhope and West Denton** areas of **Newcastle**. As a **Support Worker**, you will be part of an integral team providing tailored person-centred care to our tenants which is both meaningful and wellbeing focused.

**Pay: £10.00 - £10.30 p/hr**
- **£10.00 p/hr - Generalist Care Needs**:

- **£10.30 p/hr - Complex Care Needs**:

- Mileage - **40p per mile & 15p per mile for cyclists**:

**Working Hours and Shift Patterns**
- Part-time hours available
- Full-time hours available
- Shift working - based in one location
- Weekend working - undertaken on a rota basis

As a** Support Worker**, you will be kind and compassionate building caring and supportive relationships with the individual you support and their families. At **LIFE**, we want everyone to reach their full potential. As a Support Worker, you will:

- Be engaging, calm, and have a can-do attitude, learning and adapting with the individual you're supporting
- Be a great communicator, listening to the individual to understand their wants, needs, dreams and ambitions.
- Have the individual's best interests in everything you do, protecting their dignity
- Be a motivator, encouraging and guiding the individual to take small but brave steps towards learning new skills, meeting new people and attending local community groups
- Support the individual to become as independent as they can, making their own choices and decisions

**Training**
- **Paid induction training**: classroom-based, includes shadowing and additional online modules.
- **Additional learning disabilities, autism and mental health training**: provided to all new recruits - equipping you to meet the needs of our customers and enabling you to provide tailored, personalised support. Training delivered by our amazing specialist trainer Suzanne.
- **Training development**: funded Level 2 and other accredited courses.
