Empowering Learning are working with an outstanding school in the NG8 area of Nottingham. The school are looking to appoint a classroom teaching assistant to work on a full time basis. The hours of work will be 08:30-16:00 Monday to Friday.

The school are looking for someone who:

- Has at least one years experience working within a school
- Holds a relevant degree or a TA qualification
- Can build relationships with SEN children
- Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs
- Is an excellent team player
- Is capable of working on their own

The main duties within the role will be:

- Supporting the class teacher with the teaching and learning in the class
- Leading academic interventions with children working below age expected levels
- Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils with additional needs
- Helping the class teacher set up and prepare lessons
- Liaising with the school SENCO around progress of pupils with EHCPs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £16,131.92-£20,500.00 per year
