Vendor Returns Team Leader

To support the Reverse Logistics Manager in the control of return inventory back through the supply chain to vendors and other channels. You will plan and communicate through stakeholders and cross functional teams where appropriate to maximise the financial outcome. The role will work internally and externally and include working with 3PL data. This will include compiling stock reports across multiple plants and locations and raising reverse PO data once RMA is obtained from the Vendor
This position will support the training and development of a small team of warranty and vendor returns specialists. The role will also underpin support to the Borehamwood service team to facilitate SAP training and warranty repair.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Create vendor returns ZREPO on SAP from EMEA hubs with accurate RMA detail from vendors
- Carry out quarterly 1-1s ensuring objectives are set in success factors and performance reviews are carried out ensuring all training has been completed in EC on time
- Assist in the training and knowledge of SAP into satellite sites to ensure colleagues understand returns processes outside of CASONE
- Manage returns inventory effectively by running weekly reports to maximise financial return by targeting key vendors by value and executing a plan to the team with exact time frames
- Communicate and escalate bottlenecks and financial watch outs to finance and PM teams ensuring transparency of vendor status and RMAs are received efficiently. Facilitate with the Manager biweekly calls to highlight financial watch outs
- Raise discrepancies back to Inbound Team leader where appropriate regarding stock shortages and overages or warranty issues that may be rejected
- Assist warranty area and providing effective service on customer product swaps, replacements, repairs
- Co-ordinate and produce EMEA stock take quarterly and send findings onto management for validation of sign off
- Ensure vendor returns are managed accordingly within vendor SLA and processed accordingly in line with RMA authorisation from vendor using portals and templates where necessary
- Liaise with PM team and Apple Vendor management team where appropriate ensuring correct RMA request is made regarding consignment /Apple RTV to align crediting process back into finance
- Ensure outbound team are driving return to vendors by value and units and raising ZREPO correctly via vendor RMA in the correct plant and the correct vendor code and detailing the RMA reference within SAP for credit note match
- Ensure write off forms are used to Accounts payable team to facilitate write off stock when no RTV is achievable from the vendor
