- Working with us
- We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team in a full-time basis. This role will work closely with the Asanto Programme Manager and the Strategy Director for Asanto to support business partners across the Asanto proposition.
- Duties & responsibilities- Responsible for the development team, and co-ordinating internal stakeholders and leading relationships with business partners
- Work with stakeholders to define a product vision and roadmap, that aligns with our product and company strategy. This will include communicating with and securing support from the wider team and customers as required.
- Ownership of the product backlog to deliver on highest value items, including prioritisation and refinement in-line with business and stakeholder needs
- Define requirements and break these down into smaller chunks in the form of Epics, Features and User Stories.
- Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so they are clearly understood by the development squad and ready to be accepted into a sprint.
- Oversee the development of the platform; identify and organise the steps required for each iteration and release.
- Coordinate with other parts of the business to ensure successful project delivery.
- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
- Beneficial skills- Experience of working in a SCRUM environment as a Product Owner.
- Excellent communication skills - provide outstanding verbal and written communication to both internal, (direct-reports and senior management), and external stakeholders.
- Multi-tasking - manage several concurrent projects and prioritise demands and requirements.
- Solid people skills - build effective working relationships within The Idol and with external stakeholders.
- Systematic and organised - attention to detail and rigour to the process of building and maintaining software.
- Business minded - take decisions that represent The Idol’s business interests.
- Technically minded - understand The Idol’s SDLC and provide enough technical knowledge to facilitate good decision making.
- Domain expertise - understand the business domains The Idol operates in and build new expertise to support project work.
- Experience- General- This is a full-time Monday to Friday role with flexible working of 7.5 hours a day.
