My client rapidly is a rapidly growing financial services organisation who deliver a range of solutions to corporate clients. They are seeking a Head of Risk to join the business.

You will...
- Oversee our comprehensive risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety or security of the organization
- Work accross UK and Europe and with the Compliance, Risk and Audit Manager to conduct risk assessments, collecting and analysing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends.
- Establish policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizations services and departments
- Review, update and implement an overall risk management process
- Review and assess risk management policies, frameworks and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
- Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
- Draft and present risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
- Perform a risk evaluation: looking at our previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements
- Conduct policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors
- Review any new major contracts or internal business proposals
- Build risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company

**Person Specification**
- 5+ years financial services compliance experience, in a management or senior role within Risk
- You will have a formal Risk Management qualification
- Knowledge of MIFID 2
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, where non-routine and/or complex issues are common
- Demonstrate strong moral and ethical principles
