**Working Hours**: 10 hours per week. Tuesdays & Wednesdays 3:15-7pm every week and Sundays 10am-3pm every other week

**Salary**: £7.10 - £10.42 depending on age

Here at Shropshire Community Leisure trust our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for Catering Assistants to join the centre.

As the Catering Assistant, you will work within the catering team to achieve high standards of service and customer care at all times. You will ensure the food is hygienically prepared and served in accordance with standard laid down by the catering supervisor. You will also make sure that customers are served promptly and efficiently and ensure that financial and cash handling procedures are complied with, as well as cleaning the catering area, pot washing and setting up food, so some food handling are also requirements of the role.

 Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.

About you

Level 2 in food safety is desirable as is previous experience in a customer facing environment, however full training will be provided.
