Senior Project Controls and Data Analytics Engineer

**PURPOSE**:Integration and consolidation of all project related information utilising digital solutions according to the Skanska UK project controls process and digital strategy. Develop quality business intelligence solutions for customersand assist in data model design according to project requirements.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Develop and run reports for various data sets and management information (MI) in Power BI
- Data preparation, transformation and cleansing
- Responsible for implementing coding standards processes and procedures across the project
- Responsible for integration of: Design Models (BIM), Programme control (P6), Cost and Budget control, Earned Value Management, Change Management, Resource Allocation including Labour only and Subcontract, Forecasting and Reporting at Corporate and Projectlevel.
- Deliver suites of dashboards, analysis and comments for the Leadership Team in Power BI
- Analyse all available information to identify root cause issues, trends and to develop and prioritise improvement plans.
- Ensure data and performance processes and solutions are consistent with the wider Skanska UK policies and reporting procedures.
- Ensure all valued activities have clear and measurable earning methodologies defined
- Providing intelligence and detail behind key performance metrics such as SPI, CPI and others
- Proactively advising management where attention and corrective action is needed in relation to Cost, Schedule and Risk
**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:
- Project Management and Commercial awareness - Essential
- Understanding of Project controls principals - Essential
- Experience using Power BI (**DAX, M)** or similar - advantageous
- Highly versatile with Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot and Power Query)
- Problem solving/analysis: understanding of complex issues and problems and ability to form practical/pragmatic solutions.
- Numerical/ Engineering Degree or equivalent higher-level qualification (involving numerical analysis)
- Advanced Numerical Skills (Mathematical, Logic, Statistics)
- Data handling and presentation
- Report writing
- Self-motivated, excellent communication skills
- Able to prioritise and manage own personal workload effectively
- Team-player
- Knowledge of **R** and Python

- Knowledge of **Sharepoint, Power Apps, PowerAutomate (MS Flow)**:
