_*Role Description*_
*Project Engineer Design reports to Head of Projects*
The Project Engineer will manage and support on design & projects form enquiries through to delivery for Prototype and Serial projects, providing support to the project organisation, technical support, and process documentation to ensure delivery requirements are met and maintained.
_*Qualifications and skills*_
* Master’s or PhD degree in engineering a must.
* 5 years of experience in composites Design.
* Confident and influential communicator at subordinate and peer level.
* Good operational and organisational skills.
* Sense of responsibility and integrity.
* Ability to manage difficult situations and the stress associated with them.
* Experience in aerospace (desirable).
_*Responsibilities*_
* Good understanding of composites materials to be able to provide customer solutions with respect of project engineering and design.
* Able to read drawings and produce them.
* Able to process material testing and report generating on test program.
* Support project managers on design and presentation to the customer.
* Support Project manager on engineering side of the projects.
* Learn and grow into responsibilities on customer projects.
* Support senior management on acquisition & management of projects and support as point of contact for communications with customers.
* Support on the administration on the projects involved through the existing ERP-system.
_*Additional Requirements*_
* MRP / ERP experience – Progress Plus experience preferable.
* Instron – material Testing experience
* Read and understand technical drawings.
* Support project management on engineering projects where possible.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
