adequately stocked, that equipment is cleaned effectively and stored
properly.

and to be an effective member of the neonatal team contributing to the
best possible use of resources.

The Neonatal Unit at Liverpool Women’s Hospital is recruiting staff for
Neonatal Assistant Band 2 positions

adequately stocked, that equipment is cleaned effectively and stored
properly.
There will be a need to undertake reception / clerical duties as required
and to be an effective member of the neonatal team contributing to the
best possible use of resources.
You must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate the
ability to work in partnership with parents and the multidisciplinary team.

**Shift Pattern**: currently covering 08.00 - 20.00 hrs 7 days / week but
may extend to night shifts in the future.

**Key Responsibilities**:
To maintain adequate stock levels in the clinical areas, identifying any shortfalls to the unit manager

To ensure that stock is rotated as required

To clean clinical equipment in accordance with the Trust Infection Control policy and report any faults or service needs to Electrical Biomedical Engineers or the Unit Manager

To maintain adequate levels of clean baby linen and clothes

To ensure that all Resuscitaires and procedure trolleys are cleaned and stocked as required

To maintain clean and organised storage areas / pharmacy room

To ensure the safe disposal of all glass bottles in accordance with the Trust Health and Safety policy

To defrost and clean fridges and freezers as per schedule

To assist in maintaining the cleanliness of staff and parent sitting areas

To ensure that the parental accommodation is maintained to the agreed standard with the OCS staff and that there is adequate supplies of clean linen available at all times
