We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Lettings Coordinator to join a leading and award winning Lettings Agency based in Leicester.
Full training can be provided, but we are ideally looking for someone with the basic skills already in place, so a background working within a professional setting such as Sales / Customer Service / Account Management would be ideal.
**Lettings Coordinator Key Responsibilities**:
A lettings coordinator would deal with a broad range of tasks, all aimed at keeping the letting process moving smoothly and solving any problems that may arise, either before, during, or after the tenancy.
Here is an example of some typical duties;
- Liaising with tenants with regards to all tenancy matters, including renewal of contract agreements, end of tenancy processing etc.
- Arranging and chasing up of contractors to attend properties for repair, maintenance, periodic inspections and gas and electric certification.
- Maintaining all records and information ensuring everything is accurate, compliant and up to date.
- Provide other general administrative support to the team
- Inventories - is the property in the same condition after the tenancy
- Inventories Feedback with both landlords and tenants
- Landlord and tenant Disputes
- Liaising with TDS who deal with Deposit disputes
- Changing over utilities (gas/electric supplier etc)
- General lettings admin and customer service
- Certification checks and on-going management of fully managed properties
- Some viewings as required
**Skills Required**:
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent people skills to be able to deal with tenant and contractors.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a role that uses a similar skill set
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including Word and Excel and the ability to pick up new systems.
Hours;
Monday -Friday 9.00am-5.30pm, One in three Saturdays working from home from 9.30am-1200pm to deal with emergencies (The Office phone will be diverted)
Parking is provided
