**Our Senior Clinical Psychologist**will lead and continue to develop the Psychology team including the line management and supervision of HCPC Psychologists in the team, recruitment and training of new Assistant Psychologists, and ensuringthe provision of supervision, line management, and ongoing training of the AP workforce is in place and operating safely and effectivel.

The Senior Clinical Psychologist will also be involved in decision making regarding the utilisation of Assistant Psychologists within the service to ensure that the job role and clinical work remains within the remit of an Assistant Psychologist. As partof the Clinical Management team, the Senior Clinical Psychologist will be involved in the broader support of the clinical team such as clinical inbox, task list, critical incidents and safeguarding to facilitate clinical decision making across the service.
- **Main Duties**

Provide leadership through knowledge and expertise to ensure efficient functioning of clinical services

Report clinical incidents, severe incidents, clinical complaints in a timely fashion to the Clinical Leadership Team

Provide leadership and advice on safeguarding issues as required

Provide knowledge and expertise for clinical procedures and referrer requirements for the Psychology team

Work with the Clinical Operations team to define and iterate Psychology processes

Ensure audit and improvement cycles are in place and operationalised for the Psychology service

Ensure appropriate senior clinical cover is always in place for the Psychology team

Ensure supervision and training is in place for the Assistant Psychologists

Recruitment of Assistant Psychologists and provision of clear development pathway for Onebright employees who wish to progress into Assistant Psychologist roles

A peer review process is in place for all AP reports

Lead in the audit and promotion of silvercloud delivery

Lead in delivery of contracts which utilise AP resources

Support clinical decision making in relation to new contracts involving the AP’s to ensure clinical compliance and competence

Hold a small caseload as appropriate

**Communication**

Maintain regular communication with clients on their future needs / requirements

Communicate effectively with referrers, clients, and external network

Communicate effectively across internal teams

Maintain regular contact with Business Development, Clinical & Operations heads

Maintain regular contact with clinicians and operational staff across the group

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Management -**Experience of delivering services at a senior level within an organisation and maintaining high professional standards
