Human Resources Advisor

Overall Objective: To deliver an exceptional HR Service within the company working alongside management to ensure cost-effective and efficient running of their departments/units in line with HR and Operational Policies, with the aim of providing the highest levels of care for our personnel and a working environment for our staff that they would advocate to others.
The role will require constant engagement with the CEO UK Business and UK Management Team and will involve a range of different experiences giving you the chance to support the delivery of key work across KMEC. This includes partnering with senior staff to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions in relation to organisational development, culture, and change to deliver outcomes and manage issues. The role will ensure that the delivery of programs and initiatives is closely aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
This role needs organisation, attention to detail and capability of quickly re-prioritising work; implementing proactive actions to solve any emerging issues or challenges. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including through writing, and experience building effective working relationships with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture a positive culture and working environment and work collaboratively to identify, develop and implement key organisational culture, engagement and change initiatives and strategies.
- Manage end-to-end workforce planning including forecasting needs, job design and evaluation, recruitment and selection processes, on-boarding new employees and coaching and liaising with line managers.
- Lead, monitor and review the performance management system ensuring that appropriate plans are in place for managing succession, retention, talent and career development.
- Ensure that all training and professional development is linked to organisational goals and coach individuals to improve performance and capability across the company or achieve career progression.
- Oversee Work Health and Safety matters including committee and injury management and ensure a safe and supported environment.
- Regular internal HR audits and reporting to senior management, providing decision support through key HR metrics
- Ensuring regular review of relevant polices and procedures
- Implementing and monitoring training programs for all new personnel
- Becoming the first point of contact for any HR items
- Liaising with external HR key contacts
- Ensuring knowledge and implementation of the latest HR knowledge and best practices
- Identification, promotion and dissemination of best practice and innovation, providing regular training and workshops
- Positive and proactive engagement with all departments
- Ensuring the UK Business learns from internal and external findings
- Discussing and supporting business strategy and targets
- Creating risk avoidance and limitation strategy to support a healthy functioning business
- Identify key narratives, communications and tasks to guide projects and processes
- Facilitating open communication between employees and management
Qualifications & Knowledge Requirements
- Level 3 CIPD qualified or similar
- Human Resources degree or similar
- Previous HR experience required and a comprehensive understanding of employment law
- Business knowledge and problem solving skills
- Experience of analysing information to extract meaningful conclusions, professionally presenting these to stakeholders in document format/verbal briefings
- Highly efficient planning and organisational skills. The ability to manage a number of activities and research project concurrently
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 17.5 per week
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
