**Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting an**
**experienced Learning Resources Advisor to join the Teaching, Learning & Improvement team based at Gloucestershire College.**

**The Libraries team based at Gloucestershire College offer a vibrant and active environment for our wide range of learners. As a team we are committed to providing resources and support to enable our learners to successfully complete their studies.**

**The highly skilled and professional team of Learning Resource Advisors is available to provide support to learners with directed or independent study and more generally in developing their information literacy and research skills.**

**The purpose of this role is to proactively provide direct support, instruction and guidance to Library users and learners in using the resources available, and to manage scheduled groups of learners completing the online element of their programme of study within one or more of the college’s libraries and student learning areas.**

**To thrive in this role, you will have a genuine passion for progressing the learning of students, including disadvantaged learners, and be confident in promoting positive behaviour and communication skills in education and for future employability.**
